Acne and scars?
i need some things.
a good scar diminishing treatment for scars about 7 years old. they are sort of deep, and almost a purplish red. i hate them -_-
second, a strong facial wash. iv’e used so many from all of the brands like neutrogena. my acne seems to build immunity in about a week.
i have many problems, oilyness, englarging pores, blackheads, whiteheads, cystic acne, the scars.
im not dirty, i wash my face like three or more times a day.
i don’t eat particularly unhealthy food, infact i’ve ceased to consume sodas completely, and junk for the most part.
i don’t know of anyone else in my family that has or ever had an even acute problem with acne
i used to think “well im gettin older it’ll come and go” but i got my first pimple in like second or third grade. here i am about to graduate highschool!!!
help please!! im tired of the same old face =( it’s too much work!
Acne and scars?
The best thing for scars is a TCA chemical peel. It won’t really help existing acne other than drying your face out for a week, but by removing the top layer of your skin, it will get rid of scars completely and leave you with fresh, baby smooth skin. Usually this is done by a dermatologist for $400-$800 but I just bought some TCA chemical peel solution from online for one tenth of that. (Haven’t tried it yet though!)
Usually acne dimishes as you become an adult, but I am 38 and I STILL get a couple of pimples per month, especially before my period, and my skin is STILL gushingly oily and never stopped! My skin still thinks I’m 16…. You’ll be happy someday you won’t have the fine lines or wrinkles of other people your age but I know from experience when you’re in your 20’s and then your 30’s it’s like “What the h*ll??? Is it EVER going to end??”
Well the good thing is that after having breakouts for what, like 27 years now, I have tried just about EVERYTHING possible on the market and have come up with the following:
The best thing to wash your face with is either Ivory soap or the Neutrogena bars for oily skin. Most everything else is fluff with fancy packaging as a marketing gimmick so they can charge a lot.
Get a prescription for Benzamycin Gel from any doctor. It’s a white gel that is a combo of benzoil peroxide and eurithromycin (antibiotic). Something about the combo of the 2 zaps zits like neither ingredient can do alone.
If you don’t have access to a prescription, use Persa Gel Clean %26amp; Clear 10% Benzoil Peroxide for the next best thing.
Use a STRONG exfoliating scrub DAILY. I don’t care that cosmeticians say use it only twice a week. I have been using a very strong scrub EVERY DAY for 17 YEARS on my face and it’s the best thing for controlling breakouts because it removed all the dead skin just sitting on top waiting to block up your pores! I also don’t have ANY fine lines on my face %26amp; look 10 yrs younger
It’s also a myth that if you dry up your skin it will get more oily. WRONG!! If you use some wimpy creamy cleanser that DOESN’T dry it out, it will be more oily. I’ve tried expensive products for MONTHS until I had a face full of pimples %26amp; blackheads, only to always return to my basic Ivory soap and scrub to clear everything up and keep it that way for the most part.
It’s great that you’ve eliminated the junk food %26amp; sodas. Also drink lots of water every day to keep your system flushed clean.
The last thing is the Ortho Trycyclin birth control pill really does work! When I’m on it I don’t break out at all (but trying to get pregnant so am now breaking out again).
Acne and scars?
for scars including old scars you can use Lavender essential oil you can buy this from aromatherapy shop or boots chemist you rub it in neat into your scars twice a day massaging the oil in well . For your other problems you can use tea tree oil as it is anti-bacterial, but if your acne is really bad I would see a doctor. hope this helps
Reply:There are things you can do, depending on the types of scars, raised, ice-pick or depressed fibrotic. But they are not over-the-counter. You should be talking with a dermatologist. There are things such as lasers, dermabrasion, chemical peels
and more.
