What is back acne? Back acne or ‘Bacne’ as it’s sometimes called is similar to facial or body acne but that it’s on the back. The back is made of thicker skin than the face which sometimes make acne treatments less successful. The larger sebaceous glands on the back produce more oil and can produce nodules and cysts and these can occur more frequently.
